Is there hope for my thin over-tweezed brows?

Yes, there is hope for anyone who has very thin or over-tweezed eyebrows. I’ve worked with the faces of Orange County for over 20 years and I’ve seen hundreds of cases like yours. It takes time, patience, and the right guidance to fuller and more natural looking eyebrows.
I recommend that you put your tweezers down or hide them if it’s necessary, don’t use scissors to trim your brows (leave that to a professional) and just allow your brows to grow out completely. My clients who need corrective work on their brows due to over-tweezing usually use products to assist them in the growing out process. Using a product that helps stimulate hair growth and strengthen your existing hair is essential in the growing out process; it speeds up your chances to fuller eyebrows.
Key steps to remember is- not to tweeze every day, you want your eyebrow hair to remain in the same stage of hair growth and don’t tweeze course gray hairs. Tweezing grays can leave gaps. Trimming is a proper key to polished brows, but leave it to a professional, and lastly don’t be shy to use brow makeup to shade in eyebrows

To Tone or Not To Tone by PCA

The Importance of Double Cleansing By Rowena Ireifej

After a long day of wearing makeup, producing oil, and collecting enviromental debrie, you want to make sure to clean your skin throughly. We recommend cleansing your face twice. (Double Cleanse)

First use Pre-Cleanse by Dermalogica (perfect for all skin types) with dry hands. Apply a thin layer on your forehead, cheeks, chin, jawline, and nose. Then wet your hands to build a lather on your face. Use circulear motins to break up makeup and wash skin. Its best to use sponges to remove the pre-cleanse and makeup.

Then use your favorite cleanser for you second cleanse to actually wash your skin. Preform the same circulear motions and then use clean sponges to remove cleanser. Now your skin will be clean and ready for your skincare regime.

Brows shade should complement your hair.DO-Use brow powder that is two shades lighter or darker.
Fuller classic brows are in for 2009. DO-Grow out your over tweezed brows for a more youthful look.
DO-Use a colorless wax under your brow powder for a long lasting look.
DONT-Tweezing gray course hairs can leave gaps, instead of tweezing use a tinted brow gel to cover the gray hairs or get them professional tinted.
DO-After shading your brows in with brow powder, highlight eyebrows with a crème colored pencil for a more polished look.
Brush brows up with a spooly and apply brow powder in for more intensity and depth.
DONT- tweeze daily, it can lead to over tweezed brows, which can age a woman.
DO- leave the trimming to a professional because being scissors-happy makes brows uneven.
DO- use slant tip tweezers (japonesque) and only tweeze one hair at a time. It is best to take less you can always go back to balance.
Do take ten years off your appearance with a professional brow shaping.
