Younger Looking Skin at Every Age by Rowena Ireifej
30's Keep the Glow: Even with a good night's rest, you may still appear tired. Under eye issues develop at this age. To disguise under eye issues, find a conclear with a warmer tone. Warmer tones blend better and is less noticable. Try the balm light/medium for day time. To reduce dark circles, dryness, and puffiness use an eye cream that contains kojic acid, licorice, and peptides. For 24 hour care try PCA EyeXcellence, a result driven triple-action eye cream morning and night. Your skin will also get drier at this age. A lack of hydration affects the natural exfoliation process, causing it to slow down, which can make skin look dull. Use a light to mediun moisturizer during the day and a rich hydrating moisturizer at night.
40's Get Even: Age spots, sun spots, and discoloration appears at this age. Add kojic, glycolic or azelaic acid, Vitamin C or hydroquinone to your routine. Products with these active ingredients will lighten and brighten your skin tone. Even out your skin tone with Age Limit by Ultra Dermacine, Pigment gel with Hydroquinone by PCA, or Jan Maini C-Esta and Enlighten lotion.
50's Soften Wrinkles: You may notice that your wrinkles have become more apparent and your skin is drying out. A loss of hormones during menopause affects elasticity, firmness, and moisture levels. Use products that increase collagen production and contain peptides to resolve these issues. Try Advanced Firming complex by Ultra Dermacine or PCA Exlinea for firming. For hydration use Hydrating Vitamin Cream or Jan Marini Age Intervention Cream.
60's Maintain Moisture: Hydrating your skin is extremely important. Oil production disappears at this age. Use a hydrating serum with hylauronic acid and a rich moisturizer to lock in moisture. Try PCA Hydrating Serum and Dermalogica Super Rich.

EyeBrow Do's and Dont's
By Rayda Ireifej founder of The Brow and Skin Studio with Apothecary
Brows shade should complement your hair.DO-Use brow powder that is two shades lighter or darker.
Fuller classic brows are in for 2009. DO-Grow out your over tweezed brows for a more youthful look.
DO-Use a colorless wax under your brow powder for a long lasting look.
DONT-Tweezing gray course hairs can leave gaps, instead of tweezing use a tinted brow gel to cover the gray hairs or get them professional tinted.
DO-After shading your brows in with brow powder, highlight eyebrows with a crème colored pencil for a more polished look.
Brush brows up with a spooly and apply brow powder in for more intensity and depth.
DONT- tweeze daily, it can lead to over tweezed brows, which can age a woman.
DO- leave the trimming to a professional because being scissors-happy makes brows uneven.
DO- use slant tip tweezers (japonesque) and only tweeze one hair at a time. It is best to take less you can always go back to balance.
Do take ten years off your appearance with a professional brow shaping.

I found Xfusion while I was in New York for a wedding. I went into a salon for a blow dry. The hairdresser blew me out then filled in my part with a little colored dust. After I saw what a little sprinkle did, I bought the bottle. Eventually Xfusion made its way onto our shelves. A mere $30 a bottle goes a long way. Come in to try it out!
